National ICT Award for SchoolTeachers for the year-2016:

Last date for submission of nomination/Entry by States/UTs and Autonomous Bodies working in School Education Sector is 31 August, 2016.


The ICT@Schools Scheme launched by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt of India has acomponent for awarding teachers for innovative use of ICTs in Teaching-Learning process. In all there are 90 Awards allocated to states/UTs and Autonomous organisations working in school education sector under MHRD-GoI.

Now, Nominations/ entries forNational ICT Award for School Teachers-2016 are invited from school teachers.States/UTs/Autonomous organisations under MHRD-GOI [ i.e. KVS, NVS, CBSE,CICSE, CTSA, AEES, Sainik Schools under Ministry of Defence (MOD)etc.] are to submit shortlisted entries in order of merit (twice the number of their allotted awards quota) to the Joint Director, CIET-NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110016 by 31 August, 2016.Teachers are requested not to send their nominations directly to NCERT. Lats date for teachers to submit entries to their parent organisation through Principal/Head Master is 31 July, 2016.Details about the advertisement, guidelines, entry/nomination forms, citation booklet for ICT Award 2010 to 2014, awards quota etc.
