Please find a table of 'pure guest work' based on the comments provided by the kalviseithi users.

Assumptions:

1. There is an increase in the no. of vacancies by 16% across all the subjects (to match the total no. of vacancies announced by TRB) 

2. A number which is close to the highest CV number provided by the users (sometimes rounded off to the closest hundred)

3. List published by the blog (2012 vacancy list) is used the main reference data (I don't know how close it is to the real data. But looks genuine).

Based on the above table,the following are the hypotheses

1. There will be a really tough fight the Tamil, English and Maths majors.  Since the vacancies are in 1000s, all the meritorious candidates will will (caste will play its part).

2. All the History and Geography candidates can relax. No need of worrying about the weightage and quota. All of them will get their jobs with their hands down.

3. Physics, Chemistry, Botany and  Zoology candidates can hope for some sure shot. But the calculations are really close. Since this is just a hypothesis, close calls are tough to predict. Any All is Well, I can see some light at the end of the tunnel for all of you.
