* 5 மற்றும் 8வது வகுப்பு மாணவர்களுக்கு 2019 - 2020ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் பொதுத் தேர்வு நடத்துவது தொடர்பாக 13 . 9 . 2019 அன்று பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறையின் சார்பில் அரசாணை வெளியிடப்பட்டது . இது தொடர்பாக பல்வேறு கோரிக்கைகள் வரப்பெற்றன .
* அவற்றை மாண்புமிகு அம்மாவின் அரசு கவனமுடன் பரிசீலித்து , இந்த அரசாணையை ரத்து செய்ய முடிவெடுத்துள்ளது . எனவே , ஏற்கனவே உள்ள பழைய நடைமுறையே தொடரும் என்றும் இதன் மூலம் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன் . - அமைச்சர் செங்கோட்டையன்

🛡 5 மற்றும் 8-ம் வகுப்புகளுக்கான பொதுத் தேர்வை ரத்து செய்ய வேண்டுமென ஆசிரிய இயக்கங்களும், கல்வியாளர்களும் தொடர்ந்து வலியுறுத்தி வந்தனர்.
🛡 இதனிடையே பொதுத் தேர்வை ரத்து செய்யக் கோரி வழக்கறிஞர் லூயிஸ் தொடர்ந்த வழக்கில், வழக்கறிஞர் லஜபதிராய் முன்வைத்த வாதங்களை ஏற்றுக் கொண்ட சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்ற மதுரைக் கிளை, சரமாரியான கேள்விகளை அரசிடம் எழுப்பியிருந்தது.
🛡 நேற்று 03.02.2020-ல் அறிக்கை வெளியிட்டிருந்த பள்ளிக் கல்வித்துறை ஆணையரும் பொதுத் தேர்வை நியாயப்படுத்தியே குறிப்பிட்டிருந்தார்.
🛡 இந்நிலையில், இன்று (04.02.2020) 5 மற்றும் 8-ம் வகுப்புகளுக்கான பொதுத் தேர்வை ரத்து செய்வது என தமிழக அமைச்சரவை கூட்டத்தில் முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாகவும்,
🛡 5 மற்றும் 8ம் வகுப்புகளுக்கு பழைய நடைமுறைகளின் படியே ஆண்டு இறுதித் தேர்வு நடைபெறும் எனவும் பள்ளிக் கல்வித்துறை அமைச்சர் செங்கோட்டையன் வெளியிட்டுள்ள அறிக்கையில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
