The Tamil Nadu Government Pensioners ' Family Security Fund Scheme Contribution from the Pensioners has not enhanced when the fund amount was enhanced from Rs.25,000 / - to Rs.35,000 / - and the monthly Contribution was enhanced marginally from Rs.70 / - to Rs.80 / - when the Family Security Fund amount was enhanced from Rs.35,000 / - to Rs.50,000 /
In the letter sixth read above , the Director of Pension has stated that the average annual claims received for payment is around 15,500 and the amount required to settle this claim is Rs.77.50 crore , whereas the annual receipt from the Pensioners is around Rs.43.00 crore per annum and the annual deficit of accrual to the fund is about Rs.35.00 crore per annum. There P.T.O 2 are about 13,746 claims / Cases pending for settlement . Therefc requested the Government to sanction a sum of Rs.57.34 crore to pending claims besides enhancing the Contribution from the pensioner Tamil Nadu Government Pensioners ' Family Security Fund Scheme considering the fact that this is a self - supporting scheme.
